15 signs you’re a perfect neighbour

If you are waiting for a pick-up, ask your driver to be aware of your neighbours. Not everyone needs to know your lift has arrived, so get them to give you a quick text or call when they pull up rather than honking their horn. Also politely remind your driver to turn down their stereo when picking you up or dropping you home. Whether they are stopping in your parking lot or just pulling up to the street outside your building, the sound will travel and it will be easy for your neighbours to see who the culprit is. This applies to any time of the day, but it goes without saying that it’s even more important during unsociable hours such as early in the morning or late at night.
